Selection criteria to be listed on Fighting-Dems Muster Roll are as follows:

Anyone with valid military service (DD-214) who is running as a Democrat is eligible, except in the following circumstances:

  1. A vet who is running against an incumbent Democrat (Table III). See Endorsements.
  2. A vet who is running against a candidate endorsed by WesPAC, IAVA PAC or personal endorsements by Wesley Clark, Max Cleland or VetPAC (Table IV).

Their service is honored and they are listed here. If any of them are successful, he will have the support of Fighting-Dems.com in the general election. In this crucial election year when it is so important to take back the house, it is felt that running against an incumbent is counterproductive, no matter how well-intentioned the effort. In another election year, the circumstances might be different. Supporting vets who have been endorsed by prominent individuals or respected groups seems to be the best way to insure that Fighting Dems are elected to office.
